Mike challenges Vinny 2.0 to a bench press contest on 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation'

Take it to the gym, guys.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino challenged Angelina Pivarnick's boyfriend, Vinny “2.0” Tortorella, to a bench press contest to resolve any lingering hostilities after their scuffle on the just-concluded season of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

“BDS (Sorrentino) is benching 300 in the gym,” said Mike, in the third person, on the May 23 “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” reunion episode. “If you think your man is stronger than me, I don't think he is, you can put him on the bench. We'll have a simple contest. I guarantee he won't beat me.”

Angelina did not have an immediate reaction to Mike’s challenge on Thursday. She’s upset that Vinny 2.0 is spending to much time in the gym, and it’s detrimental to their relationship. The two are in therapy now, Angelina said.

Angelina did have plenty to say about Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Jets player Nick Bawden, and his wife Alexis Bawden, with whom she's feuding.

“You're on the practice squad bro, get the (blank) out of here,” said Angelina about Nick. Alexis is upset that Angelina DM'd her husband when the cast went to a Jets game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford in September.

Angelina became enraged when Sammi appeared in a taunting TikTok video with Alexis.

“We made a silly TikTok and it happened to be what it was,” Sammi said.

“I think she was making light of it,” said Mike of Sammi's motives. “I don't think she had malicious intent.”

Pauly DelVecchio and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro did not participate in the two-part reunion, hosted by Justina Valentine. Nor did any of the cast members’ spouses participate.

The air dates for the upcoming season has not been revealed yet.
