Midfielder Brad Lyons is out for Kilmarnock's three remaining games of the season with a hamstring injury, manager Derek McInnes has confirmed.

The Northern Ireland international, who has endured an injury-hit campaign, was a second-half substitute in Sunday's defeat at Rangers.

But the 26-year-old had to be removed soon after with an issue that will rule him out for up to three weeks.

However, McInnes has been boosted by the return of forward Greg Stewart, who is back in full training following a hernia operation.

And on James Balagizi, who has been out with a knee injury, McInnes said: "He’s not trained yet but we're hoping he could come into contention."
