Middleboro family farm sold for nearly $1.3 million: Weekly home sales

One of this week's top-selling properties was a farm in Middleboro that sold for $1,250,000.

Most recently the site of Boutiette family farm, 485 Wareham St. consists of 7.60 acres offering "so many possibilities," its listing states.

The property includes two huge 60-by-40-foot garage/barns — one with electric, heat and insulation, and the other for animals with preparation for a barn with living quarters above. There were also a variety of outside sheds for the animals on site.

Built in 1880, the 1,616-square-foot 3-bed, 2-bath main home on the property features an open floor plan with living room, dining room and kitchen with breakfast bar. A loft family room on the second floor offers access to an upper deck.

The property is suitable for commercial usage, with plenty of upland for additional buildings and development, with frontage of 400 feet on Route 28.

It was last sold in June 2016 for $339,000.
