Mid-Penn basketball tournament: Greencastle faces top district team in semifinal

Greencastle-Antrim boys' basketball, winners of the Mid-Penn Colonial Division title, will open play in the Mid-Penn tournament on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils will face Hershey, the winners of the Keystone Division, at 7 p.m. at East Pennsboro High School. Hershey (19-2) currently sits at the No. 1 spot in the District 3 Class 5A power rankings, a few spots ahead of the Devils (18-4) at No. 5.

The Mid-Penn championship games will be held Thursday, Feb. 15 at Central Dauphin East. The girls' game will tip first at 6:05 p.m., with the boys' game scheduled for 7:35 p.m.

If weather becomes a factor Tuesday, the semifinals will be played Wednesday, Feb. 14, with the finals on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Mechanicsburg vs. Northern York at Big Spring H.S., 7 p.m.

Trinity vs. Cumberland Valley at Mechanicsburg H.S., 7 p.m.

Hershey vs. Greencastle-Antrim, East Pennsboro H.S., 7 p.m.
