Mick Cronin's brother, Dan: 'The answer is no'
UCLA Bruins head coach Mick Cronin's brother, Dan, didn't specifically deny rumors that Mick might replace Chris Holtmann as the Ohio State Buckeyes' head coach.
But Dan did tweet Wednesday night: "Before I get any more texts and DM's the answer is No." And later, he tweeted, "It is every yr for 20 yrs this time of the season LOL."
Holtmann was in his seventh season as the Buckeyes' head coach. Jake Diebler was named Ohio State's interim coach.
Mick Cronin, who spent 13 seasons as head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats, is in his fifth season as the Bruins' head coach. Cronin attended La Salle High School, and coached at Woodward HS.
Dan added this reply Wednesday night, as well:
Not too well done he has one I know isnt taking it and another off who is the leading candidate
