Michelle Pfeiffer Shares Rare Selfie With Husband David E. Kelley

Michelle Pfeiffer celebrated 30 years of marriage to her husband, David E. Kelley, with the sweetest selfie.

The First Lady star shared a rare photo of the two on her Instagram page alongside the endearing caption, "30 years of bliss."

The Monday, Nov. 13 upload showed Pfeiffer, 65, and Kelley, 67, all dressed up and leaning in close as a gorgeous sunset lit up the sky behind them.

While the celebrity couple is often in the public eye–thanks to Pfeiffer's on-screen career and Kelley's work as a TV writer and producer–they have made a point to keep their relationship relatively private, rarely sharing candid shots and glimpses into their life as a couple online.

The last snap the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actress shared of the two was months ago, in honor of Valentine's Day. Prior to that, the only other post she shared was another anniversary post celebrating their 29th year of marriage.

As for how the two met, well, it's a rather funny story.

Pfeiffer and Kelley first met on a blind date, which Pfeiffer recounted to Jimmy Fallon on his show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, last year.

She said, "I'd had a couple of bad blind dates and I had sworn off them, and my best friend said, 'Please, just this last time, meet this guy, David Kelley.' I said okay."

The date ended up going alright, but at one point, Pfeiffer considered setting Kelley up with her sister. She relayed her idea to her best friend, who was responsible for setting up their blind date, and her friend responded, "Don't you dare. I will kill you...I'm sitting across from your next husband." (Pfeiffer was previously married to actor and director Peter Horton from 1981-1988.)

Clearly, her friend was right, as the movie star and The Practice creator share two children and appear to have an ever-lasting love.
