Michael Strahan's Twin Daughters Pose in Bikinis Amid Isabella's Medical Treatment

Michael Strahan's daughters Isabella and Sophia are strengthening their bond with some fun in the sun and quality time by the pool together.

On Monday, Jan. 22, Sophia shared a snap of herself hanging out with her twin sister poolside, with the two 19-year-olds posing in similar styles of bikinis.

"Us again 👭," she wrote in the caption of the Instagram upload, which showed Sophia wearing a vibrant purple two-piece swimsuit, while her sis opted for a black patterned bikini and stylish sunhat.

"Love you," Isabella wrote back.

The new photo comes just shy of two weeks after Isabella and her father sat down for an emotional interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts and revealed the difficult diagnosis.

The University of Southern California freshman was recently diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor primarily found in children—rarely someone of Isabella's age–according to her father.

"I didn't notice anything was off till probably like Oct. 1," Isabella told Roberts at the time. "That's when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn't walk straight." At first, Isabella thought it was just vertigo. But then, her symptoms progressed to new extremes, like throwing up blood, and it convinced her and her family it was time to get a thorough medical evaluation, during which doctors discovered a fast-growing tumor larger than a golf ball in the back of her brain.

A day before her 19th birthday, on Oct. 27, Isabella underwent surgery to have the tumor removed. She then endured weeks of rehab and radiation–which she just recently completed.

As for future treatment plans, Isabella told Roberts she's slated to begin rounds of chemotherapy next month.

"That's my next step. I'm ready for it to start and be one day closer to being over," Isabella said. When the treatment is completed, she's excited to return to school and get "back into a routine and something that's enjoyable."
