This Miami rap legend is launching her own music festival in the 305. See who’s coming

Get ready for the royal treatment – at least in festival form.

Trina a.k.a. the Diamond Princess will throw her inaugural Rockstarr Music Festival on February 11 at Dezerland Park. The lineup leans into southern rap with performances by Trick Daddy, Boosie and Ball Greezy as well as a special appearance by Kodak Black.

“Rockstarr Music Festival 2023 is only the beginning of what I hope to bring forth to the city of Miami yearly,” Trina said in a press release. “Miami is a market that celebrates diversity, uniqueness, and pop culture in art, music, culinary, and nightlife, so it is an honor to host a festival that is an infusion of what makes the city shine bright.”

It wouldn’t be a Trina festival without a special dose of femcees so the “Pull Over” rapper also selected Sukihana, Dess Dior and Kali to perform.

More than just a celebration of music, the festival will also spotlight local restaurants including The Licking, Island Tings and Panda Pancakes, a desert shop of which Trina is a new franchise owner. There will also be games for the kids as well as gift giveaways for the entire family.

Trina’s inaugural Rockstarr Music Festival will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Dezerland Park Miami.

Hailing straight out of Liberty City, Trina is unequivocally a Miami legend. Her proactive lyrics cemented her as one of rap’s premiere femcees and inspired the likes of Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Meg thee Stallion.

“I’m very honest and open about my sexuality, being sensuous, being powerful as a woman,” Trina told the Miami Herald in 2020. “I’m not the only person who believes in my side because as you can see, there’s a cult of woman that feel like they’re the baddest chick, that have [developed] off of the music I make, that have gravitated to the music I’ve made.”
