MIAA releases initial 2024 spring power rankings. Where does your team stand?

Now they know where they stand.

The MIAA released the first edition of their spring power rankings Friday. Teams in the top 32 of the baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls tennis and boys volleyball will qualify for the tournament in each division as well as any teams above .500 rated 33 and higher. In boys rugby, the top four teams in Division 1 and top seven in Division 2 make the state tournament plus all teams above .500. All six girls rugby teams automatically qualify for the tournament, while the power rankings are used for seeding.

Baseball and softball have five divisions. There are four divisions in lacrosse and tennis, while boys volleyball and boys rugby sponsor two divisions.

Tennis brackets will be the first unveiled May 25. The rugby brackets are out May 28, while the baseball and lacrosse brackets will be released on May 29. The release dates of the softball and boys volleyball brackets are still TBD.
