Mets' Opening Day game vs Brewers postponed due to weather forecast; Here's the makeup date

NEW YORK − For the second straight season, the New York Mets' opening game at Citi Field has been postponed.

The Mets announced Wednesday that the originally scheduled Opening Day game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday has been moved to Friday at 1:40 p.m.

Parking lots will open at 10:40 a.m., with gates to open at 11:40 a.m.

Fans with tickets for Thursday' originally scheduled game can utilize them on Friday. Season ticket holders can exchange Thursday tickets for another home game at Citi Field by 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Last season, the Mets saw their first home game against the Marlins pushed back a day due to inclement weather that never came.
