Mercer University ranked as one of the best colleges in Georgia. Here’s the full list.

Mercer University has been named one of Georgia’s best colleges.

Niche ranked Mercer the fourth best college in the Peach State.

Niche said its rankings are “based on rigorous analysis of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews,” and Mercer has topped several other Niche lists including the Best Colleges for Public Health (59th out of 245), Best Colleges for Nursing in America (108th out of 726) and Best Colleges for Engineering in America (117th out of 467).

Niche gave the college an overall grade of A-. The methodology for the grade includes academics, diversity, athletics, professors, value, campus life, student life, dorms, location, campus food, safety and party scenes.

A private school in Macon, Mercer has an enrollment of around 4,200 undergraduates and a graduation rate of about 73%.

The college also has an array of majors including journalism, nursing, engineering and biology. After graduating from Mercer, Niche noted that Mercer alumni typically start at a $36,800 salary.
