IMC Logistics, the largest marine drayage provider in the nation and with headquarters in Collierville, has acquired American Pacific Transportation, a leading California-based drayage company. This acquisition results in more than 500 trucks in California and in two new locations for IMC in Lompoc and Calexico, California.

Kinsey Hutsell joined Red Door Wealth Management, a Memphis-based financial planning firm, as a client hospitality associate. Serving as the direct point of contact to clients, she will manage account requests, perform administrative duties and maintain efficiency across firm operations.

ARTSmemphis welcomed Briana Robinson as its Operations & Development Coordinator. She previously was an admissions counselor for Austin Peay State University and Front Desk Associate/Event Staff at Collage Dance Collective in Memphis. Robinson earned a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Memphis. She will be responsible for ARTSmemphis’ event calendar as well as support development and office operations.

Binswanger Glass promoted two employees recently. Jennifer Brereton is now Vice President of Marketing and Customer Service and Debbie Baker was elevated to Vice President of Human Resources. Brerenton has been an exemplar of leadership and innovation and a driving force behind Binswanger Glass' market growth and customer service excellence, while Baker has made significant contributions to the company's culture and the development of "A-players."

Memphis-based Woodson & Bozeman’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning division recently opened a new location in Jackson, Tennessee. The company has served contractors, retailers and consumers across the Mid-South region since 1934 and has two locations in Memphis.

The Bartlett Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting for Bartlett-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 5809 Stage Road.

Nonprofit Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South named business and community leader Jason McNeil to its board of directors. He is vice president of global sourcing, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for AutoZone.

Noteworthy

The Kosten Foundation has announced it will fund $170,000 in grants in 2024 to advance pancreatic cancer research. The Memphis-based pancreatic cancer nonprofit is partnering with Baptist Memorial Hospital, the University of Texas Southwestern, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and the newest addition, the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The Baptist Clinical Research Institute is studying:

  • Genetic mutations associated with ampullary, bile duct and duodenal cancers that may allow immunotherapy treatment of these diseases

  • Neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy treatment on these cancers prior to surgery.

The Kosten Foundation hosts a free, in-person and virtual pancreatic cancer support group in the Mid-South, which meets on the second Saturday of every month and is open to all who would like to attend. Visit https://www.kostenfoundation.com.
