The Orpheum Theatre Group, the nonprofit organization that operates the historic Orpheum Theatre and the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education, announced the addition of Ignacio Vincentelli, Chief Counsel, North American Container, International Paper, to the group's Board of Directors. Board members serve three-year terms and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms.

Baker Donelson has been named a Top Performer and Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, which recognizes law firms and corporations that show a strong commitment to building a more inclusive legal profession. LCLD comprises more than 450 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners.

Hunter Martin has joined The Crone Law Firm as an attorney. He earned his juris doctor last year from the University of Memphis.

David Wade, a shareholder at Martin, Tate, Morrow & Marston P.C., was honored by the University of Memphis Law Alumni Association with the Pillars of Excellence Award, an annual honor that recognizes a select group of Memphis attorneys who have made significant contributions to the practice of law in their professional and civic lives. A graduate of the University of Memphis Law School, he has practiced law with Martin Tate for 46 years where he primarily practices in the areas of litigation and administrative law. He is a certified mediator.

Three Baptist Memorial Health Care executives retired from service in the last quarter of 2023. Dr. Paul DePriest, executive vice president and chief operating officer; Bill Griffin, executive vice president and chief financial officer; and David Elliott, vice president and CEO of Baptist Health Services Group, stepped down from their positions. DePriest retired on Sept. 30, while Griffin and Elliott retired Oct. 31. DePriest is the first physician to serve as chief operating officer for Baptist. Griffin has spent the past three decades in finance at Baptist and became the organization’s CFO in 2015. After joining Baptist in 1997, Elliott was promoted to VP of managed care and CEO of Baptist Health Services Group in 2000.

Nonprofit Binghampton Development Corporation announced the appointment of D'Andrea “Dee” Franklin as its new executive director. She will oversee all aspects of the BDC's operations and initiatives.

Lambda Alpha International Memphis chapter inducted eight new members into the land economics society at its annual banquet at Dixon Gallery & Gardens. The new members are:

William Bond, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Development, Finance, Marketing and Management; Patty Bullock, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Consulting, Development, Management and Marketing; Chance Carlisle, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Development; Todd Harris, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Brokerage, Development and Investment; Walker Huey, in recognition of excellence in Asset Management and Real Estate Development; Andrew Phillips, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Consulting and Real Estate Marketing; Adam Slovis, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Development; and Allen Wilkinson, in recognition of excellence in Real Estate Marketing.
