Memorial Day 2024: Parades and ceremonies in the greater Green Bay area

GREEN BAY - Many annual Memorial Day parades are back in Green Bay for another year. There are events all around the area.

Here are all the Memorial Day parades, ceremonies, and services in the greater Green Bay area. They are all on Memorial Day.

Allouez

Heritage Hill State Historical Park: 10-11 a.m., Garden Patio and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, 2640 S.Webster Ave. There will be a speaker, a laying of the wreath, and a drum corps performance. Park will be open until 4 p.m.

De Pere

De Pere Kiwanis Club Memorial Day Parade: Step off at 10 a.m. at De Pere Community Center at the intersection of Grant and South 6th streets. The Claude Allouez Bridge will be closed at 9 a.m. until about noon for the parade.

The veterans ceremony is at 12:30 p.m. in the main stage area of Celebrate De Pere

Green Bay

Admiral Flatley Park: 3:45 p.m., 116 Admiral Flatley Court, by Sullivan-Wallen American Legion Post 11.

Green Bay Botanical Garden:Free admission to the park for veterans and military personnel. The garden, 2600 Larsen Road, is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Fort Howard Memorial Day Remembrance: Remembrance service 11 a.m.-noon at Fort Howard Memorial Park, 1350 N. Military Ave.

Nicolet Memorial Park:Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at Nicolet Memorial Park, 2770 Bay Settlement Road.

Howard

Duck Creek VFW Post 7534: Parade and ceremony by Duck Creek VFW Post 7534. Ceremony starts at 8 a.m. at Memorial Park, 754 Riverview Drive, then a ceremony at 9 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, 1198 Pinecrest Road. Parade starts at 10 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. The parade will conclude with a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the St. John cemetery.
