Melanie Griffith Shares Rare Photos With Lookalike Daughter Stella
Melanie Griffith celebrated her youngest child, daughter Stella Banderas, on her birthday with sweet photos of the mother-daughter duo.
On Sept. 24, Stella—whom Griffith shares with ex-husband Antonio Banderas—turned 27. In honor of her big day, Griffith shared a bunch of throwback photos from Stella's upbringing and a couple more recent snaps, shouting her out in an adorable Instagram tribute.
While Stella looked absolutely adorable as a little kid, many were excited to see the newer photos, with one showing Stella posing with her mother and half-sister, Dakota Johnson, whom Griffith shares with Don Johnson. Also in the image appears to be Grace Johnson, one of Dakota's half-sisters on her father's side.
The last photo included in the post was extra special, with Griffith and Stella hugging each other tight in front of some pink balloons as they stare at the camera and smile.
"Happy Birthday my beautiful Stella! Since the day you were born you have brought so much love, compassion and joy to our family and into the world," Griffith captioned the post. "I love you with all of my heart. I’m honored to be your Mama. ♥️♥️♥️ @stellabanderasgriffith."
Many famous names wished Stella a happy birthday, with just a few in the comments being Kate Hudson, Nancy Sinatra, Jaimie Alexander, and Rosanna Arquette.
Fans also chimed in with well wishes, as one wrote, "Perfect combination of both beautiful parents! Happy birthday!" Others complimented Griffith on her family, writing things like, "Beauty runs in your family!" and "Your daughters resemble you so much. Such beautiful ladies."
Along with Stella and Dakota, Griffith also shares a son named Alexander Bauer with actor Steven Bauer, her second husband.
