This Meghan Markle-Worn Brand Just Launched a Stylish Handbag Collection
It may be peak winter, but Veronica Beard is already getting us so excited for spring.
Today, the ready-to-wear label announced the debut of its first collection of handbags. The new line marks the third product category expansion for Veronica Beard in recent years, following its successful footwear and denim launches.
Featured styles include an assortment of carryall totes, bucket bags, and camera bags in leather and raffia, each accented with sleek hardware and the brand's crest. The one to look out for, though, is the Veronica Beard Goody Bag, which is crafted from canvas and leather, and versatile enough to carry everyday and everywhere. Even better, it can be converted into a crossbody, top handle, or shoulder bag.
“The Veronica Beard uniform has always been the cool classics for the woman on-the-go: a tailored jacket, great jeans, and chic boots," says co-founder Veronica Swanson Beard. "Handbags are a natural extension of that. We are so excited to round out our lifestyle offering and give our customer everything she needs to complete her look.”
Veronica Miele Beard, who's also a co-founder and sister-in-law to Swanson Beard, adds: “When we started designing handbags, we thought a lot about what would complement our customer’s lifestyle. We want to give her the dream handbag, crafted with luxurious materials and finishes, a bag that is chic, timeless, and versatile.”
Since its inception in 2010, Veronica Beard has earned a name for itself for its stylish dickey jackets and cool wardrobe staples. It has also become the go-to brand for the stars, most notably Meghan Markle, who has stepped out in its pieces various times over the years.
