Will Meghan Markle Travel to London with Prince Harry Next Month?

We know that Prince Harry is 100 percent attending Princess Diana’s statue unveiling, but there’s still one question remaining: Will Meghan Markle go to London with him?

As much as we’d love to see a Fab Four reunion, the answer is most likely no. It all comes down to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new daughter, Lilibet Diana, who is likely too young to travel. This means that Markle will probably stay home in Montecito with Lili and 2-year-old Archie.

We really hope we’re wrong, especially since the duchess hasn’t officially confirmed whether or not she’s attending the event, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, several outlets have also predicted an RSVP of “no.” This includes Hello! magazine, which “understands that the Duchess of Sussex will not be joining her husband at the heartfelt occasion.”

This will be the second time in the past few months that Prince Harry has traveled solo. His most recent trip to London took place in April when he attended his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral.

Still, we had no doubt that Prince Harry would be present for the upcoming event honoring his late mother. The unveiling will take place in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on July 1, which marks what would have been Princess Diana’s 60th birthday.

Although Markle would probably love to support her husband, a newborn baby is a pretty valid excuse to forgo a ten-hour flight.
