Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Arrive in NYC & Their First Stop Is the World Trade Center

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially made it to the Big Apple. Their first stop? The World Trade Center.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have traveled to New York to attend Global Citizen Live from Central Park, which will take place on September 25 on the Great Lawn. However, with a few days to spare, they opted to pay their respects to 9/11 victims at the One World Observatory. The couple was joined by Mayor Bill de Blasio and his family as well as Governor Kathy Hochel. (No word on whether or not Archie and his baby sister, Lilibet, took the trip across the country with their parents.)

For the occasion, the 40-year-old duchess and the 37-year-old prince looked chic in all-black. Markle sported a black turtleneck, matching black pants and a black overcoat, while Harry donned a black suit and tie (although, at times it also looks navy blue.) Of course, they both brought along black face masks.

As we previously reported, Global Citizen Live will not only raise awareness about vaccine equity, but it will also feature live performances from artists like Coldplay and Jennifer Lopez. According to People, Global Citizen Live from Central Park is joining “a 24-hour broadcast from cities around the world calling on G7 countries and the European Union to share at least 1 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses with those most in need and support calls for a waiver on COVID-19 vaccine intellectual property rights.”

A whole weekend of Meghan and Harry in NYC? We can’t wait to see where they go next.
