Megan Fox Condemns Bullying ‘Love Is Blind’s’ Chelsea Over Comparison to Her: ‘I Hope the World Didn’t Steal’ Her Sparkle Because ‘Mine Died From Being Bullied for 20 Years’

Megan Fox finally weighed in on the “Love Is Blind” controversy that erupted earlier this year when Season 6 cast member Chelsea Blackwell told her eventual fiancé Jimmy Presnell that Fox was her celebrity doppelgänger. Presnell ended up telling Blackwell that wasn’t true, while “Love Is Blind” viewers bombarded social media platforms to roast and mock Blackwell for a comparison many thought wasn’t accurate.

“I’ve never had more people text me about something,” Fox told E! News’ “The Rundown.” “I don’t really watch TV very much. But I’ve had a lot of people text me and stop me. Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch “Love is Blind”?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about.'”

Blackwell said after the show aired that she tried to reach out to Fox and apologize to her, but Fox doesn’t think there is anything to apologize about. The actor believes Blackwell and condemned the bullying that erupted against her.

“I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied,” Fox said. “I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard. I did see a picture of her. A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox.'”

“I believe she’s telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her,” Fox added. “Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn’t happen to her. Best wishes and blessings.”

Blackwell previously told E! News that she “reached out to Megan and I just apologized to her, like ‘I’m so sorry I included you in this mess.'” She added that the comparison “was such a silly comment that was made. This was a five-hour date and it just kind of came out. And just before that, [Jimmy] was telling me he looks like Christian McCaffrey.”

“Love Is Blind” Season 6 is streaming in its entirety on Netflix.
