Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers, Mega Millions jackpot soars to $850 million
Temperatures are rising as more and more people are catching lotto fever.
Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers were 14, 20, 39, 65, 67 and Powerball 2.
Friday night’s Mega Millions $750 million jackpot drawing drew no big winners, boosting next Tuesday’s drawing to a staggering $850 million, noted the lottery’s website.
For the 35th consecutive time, no one matched all five numbers plus the Mega Millions ball; although, eight players — including two from New Jersey and one in New York — did match all five regular numbers but not the Mega Ball for a $4 million payday.
But Mega Millions isn’t the only lottery king in town. Saturday’s Powerball drawing stood at a not too shabby $639.4 million.
Neither of the two lotteries’ super jackpot has been claimed since last September, which has caused the cash prizes to balloon.
The estimated $850 million jackpot is the second-largest in the 19-year history of Mega Millions, dwarfed solely by a 2018 gargantuan top prize of $1.537 billion.
But Powerball has that cash prize beat by a good $50 million. In 2016, three fortuitous parties split a $1.586 billion jackpot.

For the lucky winner or winners of either jackpot, finance experts warn that with more money comes more problems.
