Meet the T&G Hometeam high school girls' skiing Super Team for winter 2023-24

The Central Mass. High School Sports Awards is proud to announce the player of the year nominees for girls' skiing. The winners will be announced during the live show on Wednesday, June 26, at the Hanover Theatre. Doors open at 6 and the show begins promptly at 7.

During the live show, athletes of the year in 31 sports will be honored. In addition, top teams, coaches and overall athletes will be honored as will a Courage Award winner. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive a complimentary ticket to the event thanks to sponsors.

Algonquin Regional, Junior

Beauchesne finished eighth individually in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League and, in her most memorable moment of the season, qualified for the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament. Beauchesne had a top finish of 78th in the slalom at the state meet at Wachusett Mountain. She's a three-sport athlete who also runs cross-country and plays tennis, and is a member of the business-focused DECA club, Beauchesne will captain the Titans next winter. She is the daughter of Dani and Bryan Beauchesne of Southborough.

Jillian Bradford

Nashoba Regional, Sophomore

This is the second T&G Super Team selection for Bradford, who attends Tahanto Regional. She was the No. 1 individual in the Mass Bay West Ski League’s Omega Division for the second straight season after again winning three races. Bradford finished second in the giant slalom at the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament at Wachusett Mountain. Bradford, who earned an invitation to the Eastern High School Championships, considers the fun times spent with her teammates/friends to be her most memorable moments of the season. She is the daughter of Cathy and Joel Bradford of Boylston.

Elizabeth Fallon

Westborough High, Junior

Fallon advanced to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament for the second consecutive season, recording a top finish of 73rd in the giant slalom. The most memorable moment of the season for this team captain came when she convinced her teammates and coach Andrew Lipke to get the same hairstyle as her with braids sticking out from under the helmet. Fallon aspires to pursue a career as a travel nurse. She is the daughter of Brenda and Tom Fallon of Westborough.

Anyee Li

Shrewsbury High, Senior

Li is a four-time T&G Super Team selection. She finished No. 1 in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League for the second consecutive winter to lead the Colonials to a 22-18 record. Li then placed 12th in the giant slalom and 47th in the slalom at the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament at Wachusett Mountain. The most memorable moments of the season for this two-time captain were the fun times she had racing and the festive decorations and food provided by the parents — special shoutouts to Mrs. Sungarian and Mrs. Ghidella — at each meet. Li will major in computer science at Georgia Tech. She is the daughter of Hongyan Wang and Bruce Li of Shrewsbury.

Mary Lubin

Wachusett Regional, Freshman

Lubin individually placed in the top 20 at each race in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League, helping the Mountaineers to a 25-15 record. She advanced to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament, posting a top finish of 89th in the slalom at Wachusett Mountain. Lubin, who enjoys baking, boating and kayaking when not skiing, considers her most memorable moment of the season to be the final race at Ski Ward when costumed competitors were in abundance, and she and some teammates dressed up as fairies with green tutus and light-up wings. She is the daughter of Allison and Ken Lubin of Princeton.

Alana Marchetti

Lunenburg, Junior

Marchetti, who attends Leominster High, finished 17th individually in the Mass Bay West Ski League’s Omega Division after recording multiple top-20 finishes, which were her most memorable moments of the season. Marchetti is a Mid-Wach League B all-star in lacrosse and also plays field hockey for the Blue Devils. Marchetti aspires to study biology in college with the career goal of becoming a veterinarian. She is the daughter of Jessica and Brian Marchetti of Leominster.

Abby Reid

Lunenburg, Senior

This is the fourth T&G Super Team selection for Reid, who attends Littleton High. She finished second individually in the Mass Bay West Ski League’s Omega Division after placing fourth last year. Reid advanced to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament, where she placed eighth in the slalom and 22nd in the giant slalom. Her most memorable moments of the season were finishing first in the giant slalom against Concord-Carlisle and Weston and competing in the state championships. Reid will major in environmental science at the University of New Hampshire. She is the daughter of Jessica and Geoffrey Reid of Littleton.

Kate Robinson

Wachusett Regional, Junior

This is Robinson’s third T&G Super Team selection. She ranked second individually in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League after placing seventh as a sophomore and 11th as a freshman. Robinson advanced to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament for the third straight season, placing sixth in the slalom and 28th in the giant slalom. Competing in the state championships at Wachusett Mountain was her most memorable moment of the season. Robinson, who qualified for the Eastern High School Championships, also runs cross-country and plays lacrosse for the Mountaineers. She is the daughter of Susan and Dave Robinson of Princeton.

Brooke Rosenshine

Westborough High, Senior

Rosenshine finished 13th in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League, where her top finishes were third in the giant slalom and 11th in the slalom. This two-time captain then placed 88th in the giant slalom and 91st in the slalom at the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament at Wachusett Mountain. Among her many memorable moments of the season was making her way back to the top of the slope after her runs to encourage and support her teammates. Rosenshine, a T&G Super Team selection in soccer, will continue her playing career on the pitch and major in mechanical engineering at Union College. She is the daughter of Kristen Vincent and Andrew Rosenshine of Westborough.

Madison “Madi” Rubley

Shrewsbury High, Senior

Bolstered by a pair of top-three showings, Rubley finished 14th in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League, helping the Colonials to a 22-18 record. Then, in this two-time captain’s most memorable moment of the season, she advanced to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament for the first time, placing 76th in the slalom and 96th in the giant slalom at Wachusett Mountain. Rubley also played field hockey for the Colonials and was a NFHCA academic all-star in the fall. Rubley will major in environmental science and photography at Montana State with the career goal of becoming a photographer for National Geographic. She is the daughter of Paula and Mack Rubley of Shrewsbury.

Chloe Rydelek

Shrewsbury High, Junior

Rydelek finished 10th in the Central Mass. Conference Ski League to help the Colonials to a 22-18 record. After serving as an alternate last year, she advanced to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament for the first time. Rydelek had a top showing of 61st in the giant slalom, and the entire experience that she shared with her teammates at Wachusett Mountain was her most memorable moment of the season. Rydelek, who also plays field hockey for the Colonials, has been voted captain for her senior ski season. She is the daughter of Maria and Dave Rydelek of Shrewsbury.

Chloe Sparks

Nashoba Regional, Freshman

Sparks finished 11th in the Mass Bay West Ski League’s Omega Division and took seventh in the slalom at the all-league competition. Advancing to the MIAA Alpine Ski Tournament, she placed 51st in the slalom and 76th in the giant slalom at Wachusett Mountain. Sparks also plays field hockey and lacrosse for the Wolves. Her most memorable moment of the winter came in the final regular-season league race, when she and her playful teammates donned tutus and shared plenty of laughs while creating lasting memories. She is the daughter of Melissa and Peter Sparks of Bolton.
