Jack Franklin and Dylan Rainwater, Edmond North

Class: Junior (Franklin) and Senior (Rainwater)

The story:They claimed the Class 6A No. 1 doubles state championship. Franklin and Rainwater were dominant throughout the season and finished 26-0.

Noah Gou and Levi Solomon, Edmond North

Class: Freshmen

The story: They won the Class 6A No. 2 doubles state title and went undefeated, finishing 22-0. They faced both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles opponents and thrived against whoever they played, not losing one set all season.

Eli Lemley, Edmond Memorial

Class: Sophomore

The story: He won the No. 2 singles state championship in Class 6A. Lemley beat Edmond North freshman JP Huston 7-6 (3), 1-6, 6-4 in the finals.

TJ Shanahan, Bishop McGuinness

Class: Sophomore

The story: Shanahan got over the hump after finishing as the Class 5A No. 1 singles state runner-up as a freshman. He claimed his first championship as he defeated Tulsa Holland Hall senior Porter Arens 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 in the finals.

Coach of the Year: Duncan Fugitt, Edmond North

The story: He led Edmond North to its 11th boys tennis state title and first since 2019. The Huskies had 29 points at the Class 6A state tournament as they finished ahead of rival Edmond Memorial, which had 26.
