Player of the Year

Cameron Blankenberg

School: Wayne

Year: Sophomore

Parents: Deanna and Marc Blankenberg

Position: Point guard

Key accomplishment: 30 points in state semifinals.

Future plans: Play AAU basketball in the offseason and continue to play basketball at Wayne.

Michael Briggs

School: Lyons

Year: Senior

Parents: Lindsey and Mark Briggs

Position: Point guard

Key accomplishment: Averaged 5 steals per game.

Future plans: Undecided.

Garrett Clar

School: Victor

Year: Senior

Parents: Allison and David Clar

Position: Point guard, shooting guard

Key accomplishments: Helped Victor win to back-to-back sectional titles.

Future plans: Attend Connecticut College to play basketball and pursue a career in sports broadcasting.

Jermelle Cotton

Nick Leonard
