McDonald’s CosMc’s is expanding: See the full list of locations
McDonald’s space-themed spinoff universe is expanding.
On Aug. 8, CosMc’s, the small-format, beverage- and breakfast-focused restaurant concept from McDonald’s, officially opened its newest outlet in San Antonio, Texas.
CosMc’s says in a press release that although folks there can now grab any of its extensive menu items, it will celebrate with an official grand opening this weekend on Aug. 10 and Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. local time. There, fans will have the opportunity to try free samples of menu items in addition to receiving exclusive merch for the first 100 customers each day.
CosMc’s San Antonio restaurant is the first with an outdoor patio —including “eye-catching elements that come alive at dusk,” according to the chain. Visitors can order via the restaurant’s drive-thru, kiosks or counter service, in person or through the CosMc’s app.
Lone Star State customers can also join CosMc’s Club, the chain’s new loyalty program where customers can score a free welcome drink for signing up, in addition to a birthday freebie and points with their purchases.

CosMc’s opened its first location December 2023 in Bolingbrook, Illinois as part of a limited test run, and was such a success that the mayor of the town told CNN that the city’s traffic pattern had to change from the influx of customers.
Some folks on social media shared that they waited hours to order, and others said that they came from states away. One woman says she flew from London just tovisit CosMc’s.
A CosMc’s representative tells TODAY.com that the CosMc’s universe is ever-expanding, with “up to ten” more locations set to open across the Dallas and San Antonio metro areas in the coming months.
The next one to open, it seems, is located at 5341 McPherson Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas, which is listed as “coming soon” on Cosmc’s location page.
What’s on CosMc’s menu?
Customers in San Antonio fans can expect a new menu item: the Sprite Moonsplash. The drink features Sprite with citrus and sweet vanilla flavors, served with dried blueberries and a lemon wheel, over ice.
Other fan-favorite menu items available at CosMc’s include drinks like Popping Pear Slush, Churro Cold Brew Frappé and the Sour Cherry Energy Burst, and fans can customize their drink orders, like adding fruity popping boba or an energy shot.
Food options at the chain include Blueberry Lemon Cookies, Savory Hashbrown Bites as well as Signature Sandwiches like its Spicy Queso Sandwich and Creamy Avocado Tomatillo Sandwich.
