Matthew McConaughey says he was ‘blackmailed’ into sex as a teen

Matthew McConaughey is opening up about his experience with sexual abuse.

In his memoir “Greenlights,” which was released Tuesday, the Oscar winner notes that he was sexually abused as a teen, Variety reports.

“I was blackmailed into having sex for the first time when I was 15,” the “Dallas Buyers Club” star, 50, wrote. “I was certain I was going to hell for the premarital sex. Today, I am merely certain that I hope that’s not the case.”
