Jake Knapp and South African golfer Erik van Rooyen will be the first players to tee off at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Ohio State golfer Neal Shipley, competing as an amateur in the Masters, starts his round at 2:00 p.m. Tiger Woods is scheduled to tee off at 3:54 p.m.

Who won the par 3 contest at the Masters?

The annual par 3 contest eases players and fans into Masters weekend.

Rickie Fowler won the 2024 par 3 contest. The six-time PGA Tour event winner finished with a score of 5 under par on the nine-hole competition to add a trophy to his collection.

Fowler won the par 3 contest, but that's not great news for his chances during Masters weekend. Famously, no winner of the Par 3 Contest has ever won the Masters the same year, according to the tournament website.

2024 Masters Leaderboard

When the tournament begins, the leaderboard can be found here, which is currently the leaderboard from the 2023 tournament.

According to his Masters bio, Shipley started 2024 by winning the Southwestern Invitational in California. Last summer, he finished second in the Dogwood Invitational, Sunnehanna Amateur and Trans-Mississippi Amateur.
