This massive Idaho concert and festival guide will rock your summer, Boise

Outdoor concert and festival season is about to begin in Idaho.

The calendar is crazy-packed — in Boise and beyond. If you’re wise, you’ll start planning your summer now.

The list of shows is longer than ever at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater — nearly 30. Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden is planning another dozen. Popular annual traditions such as Alive After Five and the Hyde Park Street Fair promise to draw big crowds. And if you want to do some camping, festivals beckon from outside the Treasure Valley.

Here’s a guide to fun — ranging from music, food and arts festivals in the Boise area to scenic mountain road trips.
