Wilde's birth comes after his dad hosted the National Television Awards earlier this month month. Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Dommett admitted that the organisers had a contingency plan if his wife went into labour on the night.

"It's live so there's breaks so I'm thinking I'm just going to keep my phone on me and just check during the breaks and then I can come back after a break and suddenly it's Craig Doyle," he joked, alluding to a last-second host switch.

As for the future of The Masked Singer UK, Dommett recently teased even more specials in the pipeline.
