The Masked Singer’s Clock Revealed? Don’t Leave Us Guessing This Way

Tick tock, y’all. With only four contestants remaining on The Masked Singer, time is running out to identify this season’s secret celebrities. Fortunately, we think we’ve clocked them all at this point.

We’ve already told you which High School Musical star is in the Goldfish costume, which This Is Us actress is emoting from within the Poodle Moth, and which former Friday Night Lights quarterback is bringing Gumball to life — which just leaves one more star to expose.

Some of this season’s contestants were obvious from their voices alone, but with the Clock, we really had to depend on the clues she divulged during her three appearances on the show. And after analyzing everything she had to offer, we can confidently say that disco queen Thelma Houston is the Clock.

What were some of her biggest giveaways? For starters, she specifically mentioned beating out Aretha Franklin and Natalie Cole for a prestigious award — that award being the 1978 Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, for which all three women were nominated but only Houston won (for “Don’t Leave Me This Way”).

Houston also performed at the 1975 Golden Globe Awards (hence the literal golden globe in her clue package) and has even sang for presidents, which was another on-air hint. She also has two children, another fact she mentioned in one of her clue packages.

Do you agree that it’s Houston in the Clock costume, or do you have another celebrity in mind? Drop a comment with your theories about The Masked Singer’s remaining contestants below.
