Marvel's ‘Secret Invasion’ Just Made a Big Reveal About Nick Fury's Personal Life

If there's something we've learned throughout this multi-year journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's that Nick Fury is a man who has kept things close to the vest. So any time we finally get to see more of who he is and the kind of life he lives outside the Avengers, SHIELD, and everything else in the universe, it's always a huge deal. Well, still nothing could have prepared me for the biggest twist of all which is that Nick Fury has a wife!
Somehow, in the time between Earth, space, and everywhere/everything else in between, this man has somehow found time to get married. Now, you might be wondering who is she?! How did they meet?! Well, there's still a lot of unanswered questions about all of that. But let's try to find out more anyway.

Wait, I 'm sorry...Nick Fury has a what?!
A wife! Mindblowing, I know! After Talos and Maria have continuously yelled at him for running away from everything, it seems like the man has somehow settled down in at least one part of his life.
At the end of episode 2 of Secret Invasion, Fury ends up heading back to a home that he seems pretty familiar with. Inside, a Skrull woman is cutting up vegetables and he tries to greet her, but she tells him that he's missing something. That's when Fury heads back to a table to grab a wedding ring before heading back and kissing her.
Technically, this was hinted at back in Captain America: The Winter Soldier when Nick said "my wife kicked me out," but he also could've just said that as he knew that Cap's room was bugged at the time.

She's a Skrull?
Yep, but the interesting part is we don't entirely know if Nick knows. While it would be surprising if he didn't considering the fact that he's been around them for so long, we do see her shift into a human persona before he walks through the door. The only time we see her with her Skrull skin is before he walks in.
“His home life has been a secret for 15 years in the MCU. We revealed his home life, and I think revealing a wife is more interesting than revealing a leather sofa,” director Ali Selim revealed to Polygon.
Who plays his wife?
Before we get to that, you also need to know her character's name and that is Priscilla. And she is played by none other than Charlayne Woodard.
Charlayne is a Tony Award nominee who recently starred in Pose and she also previously worked with Samuel L. Jackson in the films Unbreakable and Glass.
