The Marvels is now available to watch at home

The Marvels is now available to watch at home following its disappointing cinema run, which saw it set an unwanted MCU record.

If you missed it at the cinema, you can now buy a digital copy of The Marvels for £9.99 on SD and £13.99 on HD or Ultra HD from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and more in the UK.

In the US, The Marvels is available to buy digitally for $19.99 (same price for all formats) from Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu and other participating digital retailers.

The digital release comes with exclusive bonus content such as deleted scenes, a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes and an audio commentary from co-writer and director Nia DaCosta (Candyman) and VFX Supervisor Tara DeMarco.

The Marvels is also available to pre-order now on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD in the UK ahead of its release on February 19. There's also a 4K Steelbook available to buy for £35, which comes with 4K and Blu-ray copies of the movie.

It will eventually also be available to watch on Disney+, but a release date has yet to be confirmed for its streaming debut.

The movie marks the return of Brie Larson's Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, a role she has previously played in Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame.

On this adventure, Captain Marvel teams up with her estranged friend Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), introduced in the series WandaVision, and superfan Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel (Iman Vellani), introduced in her own TV series.

Carol and Kamala's paths first crossed in the end credits scene of Ms Marvel, in which a puzzled Captain Marvel suddenly found herself in Kamala's bedroom in New Jersey, leaving fans wondering where in the multiverse the teen superhero could be.

The Marvels solves this mystery, revealing that Kamala was transported to Monica's location after villain Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton) opened jump points to travel faster through space, impacting the entire jump point network.
