'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Fans Are “Obsessed” With Alex Borstein’s Shocking Hair Change

With The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel rounding out its final episodes, it's no surprise that cast members are also looking to switch things up in real-life, including Alex Borstein.
To celebrate the Amazon Prime dramedy coming to an end this spring, the cast got together for the show's season 5 premiere in mid-April. As fellow co-stars Rachel Brosnahan and Marin Minkle glitzed up for the red carpet, Alex also stepped out in a beautifully detailed dress. She posed in a see-through black In Earnest dress with an intricate floral-design throughout. But what stood out the most was her new hair.
Unlike her popular role, which saw The Lizzie McGuire Movie actress with jet-black locks, Alex decided to be bold and show up with new auburn hair, which she parted to the side and curled in a 1950s style. What's more, she also lightened up her eyebrows from black to light brown, making her new appearance even more dramatic.
Shortly after she debuted her hair transformation, Alex posted highlights from the event on Instagram. As soon as the MADtv alum's followers noticed the sudden change, many immediately started voicing how much they loved seeing her experiment.

Even though Alex's latest foray into fashion caused quite a stir, she didn't let the special occasion just slide by. She expressed her gratitude for being on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in the caption on Instagram, acknowledging the bittersweet ending.
"Tomorrow our final season of @maiseltv premieres on @primevideo 4/14 💖," she wrote on April 13. "We celebrated with laughs and tears and I looked somewhat amazing."
