Marvel Snap April Update Adds Baron Zemo, Red Hulk, And More

Marvel Snap’s April update, Thunderbolts, brings half a dozen new character cards to the mobile game, and they seem pretty useful, too – unless you’re on the receiving end, that is. Baron Zemo of Captain America fame leads the charge, with powers that automatically recruit the lowest-cost card from the opposing deck once Zemo’s card is revealed, a suitable power for the Sokovian nobleman.

True to its name, the update includes several other Thunderbolts heroes and baddies as well. Red Hulk is one of them. He gives you a +4 power buff if your opponent ends their turn with unspent energy. U.S. Agent has an ongoing ability that reduces the power of four, five, and six-cost cards by three, while Red Guardian reduces the lowest-power card in your opponent’s deck by two power once you reveal his card. He also removed that card’s text. Ouch.
White Widow adds Widow’s Kiss to your opponent’s side of the current location, which has -4 power built in as an ongoing effect. Finally is Valentina, who, on reveal, adds a six-cost card to your hand and gives it -2 cost and -3 power.
Baron Zemo is part of the season pass, but the others roll out across the month in the Marvel Snap shop. Here’s when you can expect them:
