New Marvel Comics: Spider-Gwen Smashes And Daredevil Joins The Gang War

Ah, another week, another new slate of Marvel comics hitting shelves across the country, across the world, and in the comic publisher’s digital comics app, Marvel Unlimited.

This week in Marvel comics sees the expansion of the big Gang War event into Hell’s Kitchen, where Elektra – in her Daredevil alias – has been recruited by the Amazing Spider-Man himself to stop mobsters and villains from wrecking New York City.

The Gang War also continues for Miles Morales and Luke Cage, and two champions of war will clash in a final battle in X-Men Red. It’s all happening in the Marvel multiverse.

This week also sees the introduction of a new Spider-Gwen series, Spider-Gwen: Smash. In Smash, Gwen returns to her own universe, and pledges to hang up the Ghost-Spider suit for just a little bit so she can tour as the drummer of her band, the Mary Janes. You can imagine how that’s going to go.
