Martha Stewart Shares Close-Up Photo of 13-Year-Old Granddaughter Jude's 'Unusual' Eye

The celebrity chef is grandma to daughter Alexis' two kids, Jude and Truman

Martha Stewart is marveling at one of her granddaughter's unique features.

On Wednesday, May 22, the celebrity chef, 82, posted a close-up photo on her Instagram of her 13-year-old granddaughter Jude's eye. The photo shows the teenager's green eye, which features a stripe of brown in the bottom right corner.

"I have always loved that my Grandaughter has a brown streak in her blue eyes Unusual?" Stewart wrote in her caption.

Stewart is mom to daughter Alexis and grandma to her daughter's two kids, Jude, 13, and Truman, 12.

In May, the proud grandmother spoke with PEOPLE at QVC's Q50 party in Las Vegas, chatting about her plans for the special holiday.

"All I want is a yearly picture with my two lovely grandchildren," Stewart said of the big day. "I just keep those pictures forever and ever. We always have Mother's Day lunch. That's a standard thing that we do."

In February, Stewart shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing her and her grandson Truman at a New York Knicks Game at Madison Square Garden. Wearing a bright orange sweater, the proud grandma leaned in to show her grandson something on her phone as the two sat courtside.

"If you look hard enough you see me —orange sweater— and soon to be 12 yr old Truman out for the night at Madison square garden for @nyknicks @celtics game," Stewart wrote over the image.

In December, the chef told PEOPLE that she had recently hosted her granddaughter and five friends for the weekend and aimed to impress.

"I cooked them the best gourmet meals I could conjure up," she said. "I was going to give them an apple tart lesson, but we ran out of time."
