Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe Snuggle Up With a 'New Friend' in Adorable New Photos

Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe have made an adorable new friend.

On Sept. 8, the Marvel star shared a series of photos on Instagram of himself with his Poor Things co-star, posing with a brown alpaca in a picturesque setting.

In one of the snaps, the two men smiled wide for the camera while Dafoe stroked the alpaca's head. They also took turns hugging the critter for individual pictures. For a final photo in the post, Ruffalo snapped a selfie with Dafoe, with a backdrop of more alpacas behind them.

"We made a new friend," the 55-year-old captioned the collection.

"Beautiful 🙌," declared Juliette Lewis in the comments.

Ruffalo's wife Sunrise also chimed in, writing, "I love you guys ❤️."

Though the Oscar-nominated star didn't share where the photos were taken, Sunrise had previously shared with Vogue that the Ruffalos are fans of the Buck Brook Alpaca Farm in Roscoe, New York, not far from their Callicoon home.

In 2017, she told the magazine that the place is a "beautiful hilltop farm full of extremely soft alpacas. It is a great place to take the kids when you have a moment. I have even fallen in love with their extremely friendly cats that roam the farm."

However, the photos could also have been taken at the farmhouse owned by Dafoe's wife Giada Colagrande's mother. In a recent New York Times profile, the 68-year-old shared that he spends his free time at the farm in Italy, which has various animals, including goats, turkeys, a ram, and—of course—alpacas.
