Mariah Carey Visits the White House with Her Twins to Spread Christmas Cheer

Mariah Carey is celebrating the season with the POTUS. The Queen of Christmas paid a visit to the White House to meet with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and spread a bit of holiday cheer.

The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer was joined by her twins -- 12-year-old Monroe and Moroccan, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon -- for the special appearance.

"Last week I had the pleasure of meeting President Biden & Vice President Harris at the White House to ring in the holiday season! While there, we got to see all the festive decor and spread some cheer! 🎄❄️☃️" Carey wrote on Instagram, sharing a carousel of images from the day.

In the first shot, Carey and her children are seen chatting with the commander-in-chief inside the Oval Office. The 54-year-old superstar was dressed in an elegant fashion, wearing a glittery black mini-dress and jacket with pale pink-and-white piping. She wore her hair in loose waves and completed the ensemble with pink platform heels. Daughter Monroe kept it classic in a black-and-white look that included a houndstooth skirt with black tights and a quilted black leather jacket. Moroccan dressed up his Nike sneakers with khaki pants, a red sweater and a black blazer.

Carey also included nicely posed photos with Biden, and with Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff. The star enjoyed the sight of the festive White House Christmas tree, sharing a sweet family moment with her kids in front of it and even adding an ornament to its branches.

Not included in the shots is Carey's longtime love, Bryan Tanaka, after rumors of a breakup have surfaced.

Meanwhile, Carey recently wrapped her Merry Christmas One and All Tour. Earlier this month, she was joined by Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson in Madison Square Garden for the New York City stop on her trek. The occasion: the first live performance of the trio's holiday single, "Oh Santa!."

Last month, Carey opened up to ET about the special holiday plans she had in mind for her family this year.

"I'm spending it with my kids and some friends and we'll be in Aspen," the singer shared, adding that the family will be back in their sleigh for a ride. "Santa's coming over as well. You think I'm lying, but it's true! That is my homie and so he's gonna be coming over."

She'll need the backup, especially regarding the twins' Christmas list! "Everything is somehow technology driven, so it's not necessarily cheap," Carey told ET. "Not that I want it to be cheap, but like, you know, I like them to have a lot of presents to open and everything else, but then they don't care about the other ones. They live for the ones that are a little more on the expensive side."
