Mariah Carey Plays Epic Nighttime Prank on Jimmy Kimmel at His Home

Mariah Carey knows how to ring in the holidays with a bang!
Dressed in a festive red suit, the undisputed Queen of Christmas and a team of accomplices recently showed up at Jimmy Kimmel's house at 2 a.m.
The official Jimmy Kimmel Live! Instagram account shared the clip on Thursday, Nov. 2, alongside the caption, "@MariahCarey pranks Jimmy at his house in the middle of the night! ❤️🎄❄️."
At the beginning of the video, Carey whispers to the camera, "Hey, so we're here at Jimmy's house in the middle of the night, and we're going to wake him up because we gotta let him know what time it is."
Kimmel's wife, Molly McNearney, quietly ushers the crew—consisting of Santa, elves, a gingerbread man and Christmas trees—into her home, leading them to her and Kimmel's bedroom, where the late-night host is fast asleep.
"Jimmy," Carey says gently at his bedside while Kimmel squints as lights shine in his face. "It's time!"
A disoriented Kimmel asks, "What time is it?"
"Hit it!" the singer declares as her classic song, "All I Want for Christmas Is You," starts playing.
When the beat drops, Carey tosses fake snow, and everyone (including McNearney) starts jamming. "You like this, and you know it!" she tells Kimmel. "Come one, we've bathed together. This was the next step."

The ending shot shows a still-groggy Kimmel standing downstairs in his home while wearing his wife's robe and talking to Carey. "I'm laying there, and I'm like, 'Something smells good.' And it was you, it turns out," he said.
In addition to the unsolicited welcome to the holiday season, Carey gave Kimmel a T-shirt with her face and "It's time!" written on it.
