Of course, the unofficial Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, is out there celebrating. In fact, Mimi just hit the streets of New York City in a stunning high-slit dress that showed off her miles of toned legs.

Mariah paired the silky look with a diamond necklace and earrings (because Mariah Carey), an oversized coat, and strappy heels that displayed those strong legs even more. But the 52-year-old shared in her Instagram Story that she almost had a wardrobe malfunction while she was wearing her fashionable outfit. “It was very, very close to being a full-on scandal, but we made it work,” she joked, before sharing that her strap became “untethered” at an event for Moet & Chandon, where she performed her hit Christmas single.

OK, but what does this singer do to stay so strong? Well, Mariah has been more than clear about the fact that she isn’t a big fan of the gym, although she’s been captured on video jokingly walking on the treadmill in heels and using a VersaClimber in similar shoes.

Mariah also just works hard to stay active in her daily life. “She always forces herself to go for a brisk walk every day, even if it’s on the treadmill, and she also tries to fit in a daily session of swimming and water aerobics,” a source told Hollywood Life. Swimming and walking are both great ways to get in a little low-impact cardio, and they can also be seriously fun workouts!

On the food front, Mariah has previously wiped out sugar from her diet when she was focusing on her health and wellness. “Mariah has been working with a personal trainer and a nutritionist,” a source told Hollywood Life back in 2018. “Mariah loves smoked salmon and capers, so she eats a lot of that lean protein, but the secret to her success has been the one thing she cut out almost completely, and that is processed sugar.”

When she's cutting sugar out, Mariah opts for blueberries and mangos when she gets a craving for something sweet. She'll also load up on “whole foods with a focus on vegetables."

But don't worry, Mariah makes plenty of room for fun. “Her one guilty pleasure, that she will never stop enjoying, is her wine,” the source said. “She likes to sip on a glass of red or white at the end of a long day and that’s something that Mariah will probably never change.”

And best of all, Mariah is all about embracing her body and feeling confident in herself. “I don’t feel like you have to be a size zero," she told People. "We should all just embrace who we are physically.”
