Maria Taylor Responds To Radio Host’s Sexist Outfit Comment
ESPN’s Maria Taylor made her Monday Night Football debut in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL regular season. The veteran college football reporter and NBA host was on the call for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ win over the New York Giants.
Unfortunately, Taylor had to deal with a crude, sexist comment from a radio host on Twitter during the game.
Dan McNeil, a Chicago radio host, made a sexist comment about Taylor’s outfit on Twitter during Monday night’s game.
“NFL sideline reporter or a host for the AVN (Adult Video News) annual awards presentation?” he tweeted and later deleted.

McNeil was widely crushed for his comment.
Taylor clapped back on Twitter later in the evening.
“Well Danny Dearest if you would like to continue making sexist comments about me…please bring your misogyny with you to the NBA Countdown doubleheader I’ll be hosting tomorrow night. Hey ladies remember you can wear whatever you feel confident in!” she wrote.

McNeil’s employer has yet to officially comment on the crude remark.
Taylor, meanwhile, did a fantastic job during the Monday Night Football broadcast. She was part of a team with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, who also received major praise for their first NFL game broadcast.
