Ring in the 2023 New Year with a delicious meal, live entertainment, fireworks lighting up the sky and the dropping of the mirror ball.

If the nightlife is not for you there are other daytime events to attend for families and children of all ages.

Here is a list of some of the favorite places to celebrate New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day right here in the Myrtle Beach area:

Margaritaville at Broadway at the Beach

  • Where: Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville at Broadway at the Beach, 1114 Celebrity Cir., Myrtle Beach

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. till midnight

  • Admission: Admission is $10 starting at 8:45. Kid’s 12 and under free.

Margaritaville at Broadway at the Beach will host a New Year’s Eve party from 9 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31. The event includes live entertainment with The Paul Grimshaw Band, stiltwalkers, midnight margarita shooters, and party favors.

New Year’s Eve 2023 - Hollywood Beach Red Carpet

  • Where: Tin Roof, 1410 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 31 from 7 - 11 p.m.

  • Admission: Admission starting at $30 - $300

Tin Roof wants you to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a Fireworks Extravaganza over Lake Broadway beginning at 8pm. All fireworks are weather permitting.

New Year’s Eve at 21 Main

  • Where: 21 Main at North Beach, 719 N. Beach Blvd., N. Myrtle Beach

  • When: Saturday, Dec., 31 from 8 p.m. - Sunday, Jan., 1 till 1 a.m.

  • Admission: Tickets are $175 plus tax. Call 842-282-7100 for reservations.

Ring in the new year with entertainment and a meal at 21 Main at North Beach Resort.

The night’s festivities include a premium bar, award-winning hors d’oeuvres, four-course meal, champagne toast and breakfast to-go at the end of the night. The menu includes shrimp cocktail, caesar salad, surf & turf with filet and lobster tail, and a chef’s selection dessert.

Live entertainment will be provided by The Special Blend Experience.

A Southern Times Square at The Market Common

  • Where: The Market Common, 4017 Deville St., Market Common, Myrtle Beach

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. - Sunday, Jan. 1 till 1 a.m.

  • Admission: To receive a ticket, present a receipt totaling $25 or more from any restaurant or retailer located at The Market Common during the last week of December. Exchange your receipt for a ticket at The Market Common Management office during normal business hours from Dec. 27 until Dec. 31. One ticket will be issued for each $25 spent.

The Market Common will host a New Year’s Eve party to welcome 2023!

The annual Southern Times Square is the beach’s own version of the Big Apple’s New Year’s Eve celebration with a live telecast on a jumbo screen and a mirror ball drop at midnight. Enjoy live music, a beer & wine garden, food vendors, photo booth and more at this event.

Myrtle Beach Bowl

  • Where: Myrtle Beach Bowl, 101 Gray Dr., Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach Bowl has a countdown for the kids. There will be a countdown to Noon. .All you can Glow n Bowl, shoes and party favors included. Fun for the whole family.

Lulu’s Noon Year’s Eve

  • Where: Lulu’s, 4954 U.S. 17 S., N. Myrtle Beach

  • When: Saturday, Dec., 31 - 10 a.m.

  • Admission: Kid friendly event (Lulu’s will close at 3 p.m.)

Lulu’s at Barefoot Landing is hosting a kid-friendly event that will begin at 10 a.m. There will be many activities, including, face painting, a sand castle contest, and a lot more family activities. There will be a countdown to the ball drop at noon.

New Year’s day party - Ripley’s Aquarium

  • Where: Ripley’s Aquarium, 1110 Celebrity Cir., Myrtle Beach

  • When: Sunday, Jan., 1 - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Admission: Tickets are $36.99/adult; $24.99/child ages 6 to 11 and $12.99/child ages 3 to 5.

Ripley’s Aquarium is hosting a New Year’s Day Party, which will include many fun activities for the whole family, arts and crafts, includes admission to the aquarium and a special mermaid show.

Each New Year’s Eve Comedy Cabana in Myrtle Beach has a hilarious lineup ready to help you laugh into the next year. This year’s comics include Drew Thomas, Cyrus Steele, and Vinnie Mark. Tickets include reserved seating, a photo of the comic, party favors, and a gift certificate for another show. Show times are at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. December 31, 2022. The 10 p.m. show includes a champagne toast.

Hard Rock Café New Year’s Bash

Crooked Hammock Brewery in North Myrtle Beach fun New Year’s Eve Party. The party includes an open bar with house-made brews, wine and spirits, a buffet, live music. Snow will be falling and a keg drop at midnight.

The Long Bay Symphony will be performing at the Kingston Plantation/Palisades Ballroom for a black-tie optional night of dinner, dancing, and drinks.

  • Admission: $30 in advance, $40 at the door

3001 Nightlife will welcome in the New Year with party favors and a Champagne Toast at midnight. All three clubs will have live bands. Club Rewind: Tim Clark Band, Bourbon Cowboy: Tim Elliot, Club Envy: DJ Daniel Pruitt.
