Marcus Theatres' summer family film program is back, with 12 weeks of $3 movies

Marcus Theatres has announced the lineup for its annual Summer Kids Dream family film programming.

During the 12 weeks between June 9 and Aug. 29, a different kid-friendly movie will be shown each week, with tickets costing $3. There also will be concessions deals available, with $3 hot dogs and $3.50 popcorn and soda combos.

A summer passport is also available that will allow ticketholders to see all 12 movies for $18. And, beginning May 28, two free passes for any Summer Kids Dream movie can be downloaded by visiting amfam.com/kidsdream.

Here's the movie lineup:

• June 9-13: "Minions: Rise of Gru"

• June 16-20: "Sonic the Hedgehog"

• June 23-27: "Under the Boardwalk"

• June 30-July 4: "Trolls Band Together"

• July 7-11: "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie"

• July 14-18: "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie"

• July 21-25: "Migration"

• July 28-Aug. 1: "The Jungle Bunch: Operation Meltdown"

• Aug. 3-8: "Shrek"

• Aug. 10-15: "The Lego Movie"

• Aug. 17-22: "Wonder Park"

• Aug. 24-29: "Sing 2"
