South Carolina, in the 16th season under coach Dawn Staley, is looking to become the 10th program in women's basketball to finish with a perfect regular season. The Gamecocks are a lock as the No. 1 overall seed.

Iowa — led by Caitlyn Clark — and defending champions LSU — led by Angel Reese and Kim Mulkey — will attempt to slow down South Carolina's path to history. So far 28 teams have clinched automatic berths through conference championships, with four remaining to claim their berths on Selection Sunday.

That leaves 36 teams to compete for an at-large bid. While several teams will sweat it out Sunday to find out if they made the tournament, other programs are just looking for where they will play when the tournament starts next weekend.
