March Madness bracket 2024: Updated schedule, TV channels for every Sweet 16, Elite Eight game

A tournament that began with 68 teams holding on to a dream of a championship and the one shining moment it provides is now down to 16.

After the reliably eventful and occasionally chaotic first and second rounds of the 2024 NCAA Tournament, March Madness rolls on this week as the field will once again get chopped to a quarter over a handful of days — first with the Sweet 16, and then the Elite Eight.

While the tournament has offered its share of upsets — who could forget Oakland beating Kentucky or Yale rallying to knock off Auburn? — all four 1 seeds and all four 2 seeds have advanced to the Sweet 16, keeping the top championship contenders alive in their pursuit of a title.

In fact, only one team seeded higher than sixth remains: 11 seed NC State. While the Wolfpack lacks the traditional bona fides of a Cinderella — having two national championships to its name — it’s the closest thing remaining to a plucky upstart. Kevin Keatts' team rebounded from a 17-14 regular season to win five games in five days to capture the ACC Tournament championship and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament, where it has won its first two games.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Sweet 16 and Elite Eight, including the schedule, scores (once finalized) and TV channels:
