As winds intensify across the region, Rochester Gas and Electric (RGE) and New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) have begun reporting power outages.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning affecting multiple counties in the Rochester region, including Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Jefferson, Lewis, and Ontario. The advisory is effective from 2 p.m. until 7 a.m. Thursday.

A fair number of customers use this service in eleven counties, with the highest concentration of customers being in Monroe County, followed by Ontario and Wayne Counties. NYSEG power outage map

Use NYSEG's power outage map here. To report an outage, call 800-572-1131, 911, or go to its website. This utility provides services to over 40 counties, from Erie County being the predominant one to Broome and Cayuga Counties, among others.

Delaware County Electrical Co-Op outage map

Use Delaware County's Electrical Co-Op power outage map here. This utility has a small number of customers, primarily servicing Delaware County, along with Schoharie and Otsego Counties. For power outages, call 607-746-9283.
