OT Tyler Guyton: Dallas Cowboys, first round (29th overall)

Former OU and TCU offensive lineman Tyler Guyton was taken with the No. 29 pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday.

Guyton transferred to the Sooners after two seasons with the Horned Frogs. In his two seasons at Oklahoma, Guyton made 14 starts and allowed just two sacks.

The Manor, Texas, native played just one season of high school football and played on the defensive line. He signed with TCU and split time between the defensive line and tight end. Guyton was the ninth offensive lineman taken in the draft. He earned an All-Big 12 honorable mention award in 2023.

Guyton joins former OU wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in Dallas. The Cowboys finished 12-5 last season and fell to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card.
