How many Kansas State football players will go in 2024 NFL draft? See every selection

It will take some work for Kansas State football to match its success in last year's draft, the Wildcats' best in more than two decades.

K-State had four players selected in 2023, including defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah to the Kansas City Chiefs to close out the first round, and cornerback Julius Brents to the Indianapolis Colts in the second. Also, defensive back Josh Hayes went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and All-America running back Deuce Vaughn to the Dallas Cowboys, both in the sixth round.

The Wildcats were shut out in Thursday night's opening round but had up to four players appear on various draft boards. Tight end Ben Sinnott went off the board in the second round to the Washington Commanders, and offensive guard Cooper Beebe was picked by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round, while offensive lineman KT Leveston and defensive end Khalid Duke could go in the late rounds on Saturday.

Before last year's success, K-State's best drafts were 2001 and 2002, when they had six players selected.

Here's what you need to know about each of the players picked in the 2024 NFL draft:

TE Ben Sinnott: Washington Commanders, second round (No. 53 overall)

Sinnott, an early entry as a redshirt junior, became the first K-State tight end drafted since 2001 when he went to the Washington Commanders in the second round.

Sinnott had a breakout season in 2022, when he started every game and caught 31 passes for 447 yards and four touchdowns. He then topped that last year with 49 receptions for team highs of 676 yards and six touchdowns.

Sinnott, a former walk-on, also played some fullback for the Wildcats. In fact, he was named Big 12 all-conference at fullback in both 2022 and '23.

OG Cooper Beebe: Dallas Cowboys, third round (No. 73 overall)

Cooper Beebe went No. 73 overall in the third round to the Dallas Cowboys to become the first K-State offensive lineman taken since Dalton Risner was the No. 41 selection by the Denver Broncos in 2019.

Beebe was a consensus first team All-American as a senior and the Big 12 offensive lineman of the year each of the last two seasons. He was a first team all-conference pick at left tackle as a sophomore and the past two seasons at left guard.

In Dallas, Beebe will be reunited with former K-State All-America running back Deuce Vaughn, a sixth-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2023 draft.
