'Manifest' Has Shot to #1 on Netflix Only One Day After the Season 4 Premiere

Manifest is back! And clearly fans were anxious for season 4, because the show has already shot to #1 on Netflix's list of most-watched shows, only one day after the new season premiered.

Currently, the show is sitting above other major titles, including Love Is Blind, which just dropped its third season, as well as the new dark thriller Inside Man, starring Stanley Tucci and David Tennant.

It's unsurprising that Manifest is getting those numbers, given that the show has racked up a really strong fanbase over the years.

The series used to be aired on NBC, until it was suddenly canceled in June 2021, following its third season. Upon learning this information, fans were devastated until Netflix (who had already been streaming the earlier seasons) announced they would pick up the show for a fourth and final season.

And while anticipation for the fourth season has been high, it seems Manifest lived up to the expectations.

The final season is being split into two parts, with the first 10 episodes already out and 10 more set to premiere at some point in the near future.

Upon watching the first half, PureWow's Nakeisha Campbell gave the show a rave, 5-star review, and she said, “naturally, I flew through the episodes with my expectations high and my mouth agape—thanks to the growing suspense.”

Campbell added, “Manifest hasn't lost its ability to balance the supernatural and the bizarre with deeply human themes, from grief and loss to redemption. It smartly capitalizes on a formula that has always worked, revealing twist after jaw-dropping twist—but teasing just enough hints to keep viewers guessing.”

While returning fans are streaming the show, it's likely that new fans are getting sucked into the series as well, and we'll be curious to see if this season of Manifest can challenge Netflix's biggest premieres.

We know what we'll be watching this weekend.
