Mandy Moore Just Climbed a Mountain While Pumping & Documented the Whole Thing on IG

Mandy Moore is taking multitasking to a whole new level.

Yesterday, the This Is Us star, 37, shared a rare glimpse into her life as a new mom to her 5-month-old son, Gus. Moore posted a series of photos on her Instagram Story, documenting her impressive climb to the top of Washington’s Mount Baker (AKA Koma Kulshan). The actress made sure to highlight the realness of her situation, which included stopping to pump breast milk…on multiple occasions.

Moore kicked things off by sharing a picture of her early morning wakeup call. “This is when we woke up this am to climb,” she wrote alongside a clock reading “12:01 a.m.” She added, “Here I am pumping lol.”

The This Is Us star followed up with a mid-hike selfie, along with the caption: “New realities of adventuring.

When she reached the peak (which, by the way, has an elevation of 10,000+ feet), Moore posted another pumping photo.

“And more pumping on the summit,” she wrote.

Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, welcomed their first child, August Harrison Goldsmith, earlier this year. The actress announced his arrival on social media and slyly revealed the newborn’s nickname: Gus.

“Gus is here,” she wrote. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined. M+ T.”

Thank you, Mandy, for keeping it real when it comes to motherhood.
