Man Utd 1-1 Burnley: What Kompany said

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has been talking to BBC Match of the Day about his side having enough chances to win the game: "That is football. We are where we are for a reason. If we were clinical in all moments, we would be well clear of the relegation zone.

"Our attitude was impeccable and the sacrifice for the team was impeccable too. Old Trafford is always a tough place to go to, we will take the positives and hopefully keep the momentum ahead of two games at Turf Moor."

On Zeki Amdouni's perfect penalty record: "Don't jinx it! I won't be saying anything else about that. He is a goal scorer. Hidden in the inexperience of our squad are some really, really good talents. It is not a coincidence that he scored that goal. He is an outstanding talent."

On Dara O'Shea: "There are too many [players] to pick out. For us, it is not just about his defending and [his work] on the ball, it is about his leadership.

"We don't have a lot of experience, but he has stood up and that has been important for us."

On the rest of their season and their fight for survival: "If I was die tomorrow, you could put 'we keep going' on my headstone.

"There is tremendous consistency in the club and the approach to each game, even in the tough times.

"We have earned the right to believe and hope."
